4. When Information Is Sent

The plugin should not require unrelated visitor tracking to provide its core functionality. Where an automatic or scheduled cloud scanning feature is available, it should only operate after the site administrator has enabled the relevant functionality.

We do not use technical server logs to build advertising profiles of WordPress website visitors.

Website administrators control whether they use features that require external processing. If you do not wish to send information to an external service, do not initiate or enable cloud-based scans or other features that require external API processing.

Some functionality may be unavailable when external services are disabled.
